MailChimp*: automate a series of emails and build pretty templates. solid analytics including eCommerce tracking. free and paid versions, < $20 a month.
Pinterest: source visual inspiration, create mood boards, jot down ideas for the future. shopping lists, experiment with style, explore project ideas, expand dreamy wanderlust-y destinations. sneak a peek of my pins here. free.
PicMonkey: PicMonkey is an alternative to Adobe's Photoshop. less expensive, free or $33 a year for premium compared to Photoshop's $9 - $49 per monthly subscription fee. that being said, I like to use both. the free version of PicMonkey will give you enough fire power to do most of your online marketing creative. if you need to capture an idea in a digital sketch to give direction to your designer, PM is a great resource as well. free and paid versions, < $20 a month.
Adobe Creative Cloud: online versions of Adobe's creative software - Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut, etc. Perfect for designers. $20 a month >
